I’m extremely fortunate to have a very dedicated team of individuals who continue to drive the development of The Women’s Book. They have been there with me every step of the way – from pulling together resources to brainstorming unique ideas or simply listening to me vent when I’ve made a mistake.

One of the best lessons that I’ve learned about effective leadership is that you can’t accomplish anything you want to achieve alone. In general, I believe that everyone relies, consciously or unconsciously, on a network of others who each adds value to their lives.

The list of people in “my circle of support” fall into the following types of categories: Encouragers, Discerners, Networkers, Creators, Mentors, Listeners and Doers.

Some people in my life fulfill many roles – a variety of roles on any given day.  For example, my sister TaLisa is an encourager, doer, creator and thinker.

Who’s on your list?  Who are the individuals who have been there for you to achieve certain goals or  on a daily basis for whatever you might need?  Are there certain types of individuals who you have made sure to include in your “circle of support”?  I bet you have a list!
